Lors de l'émission sur Radioun qui a eu lieu avant le Workshop de casablanca (Journalisme Citoyen en Afrique du Nord) et qui avait réuni un représentant de Boudourou, Zizou, Normaland et moi-même, j'ai insisté sur le fait que les organisateurs dudit workshop pourraient avoir un agenda propre et qu'ils oeuvreraient à provoquer un changement au Moyen-Orient et en Afrique du Nord selon une ligne de conduite que dictent leurs intérêts nationaux, de domination, d'hégémonie, de néocoloniali.

C’est avec un peu de retard que j’écris mon petit billet concernant ma participation au premier atelier sur le journalisme citoyen en Afrique du nord. Le fruit d’une organisation commune entre Le MEPI (Middle East Partnership Initiative) et l’IREX (International Research & Exchanges Board), cet atelier à vraiment été à la hauteur de mes attentes personnelles. Je ne vais pas trop tomber dans la répétition de ce qui a déjà été dit par Subzero, Houhou et Azwaw mais il y a cer.

Xeni Jardin from Boing Boing, has this video interview with Ethan Zuckerman, co-founder of Global Voices, about videoblogging culture in Tunisia. Despite intense restrictions on freedom of speech there, and extreme risks for critics of the political status quo, bloggers there are finding innovative uses for video online, as a method of cultural commentary and activism. Using tools like Tor and SipPhone to ensure anonymity, they have proven themselves to be several steps ahead of their US count.

A lot of people are wrongly reporting that I'm involved in the making of the Tunisian presidential airplain video. The video, as I reported here earlier, was build, from sracth, by Astrubal. What I did is just blogging/talking about it (maybe a little too much), trying to create a buzz around the kind of Web2.0 activism I like. Well, the buzz has worked, but not without a collateral damage: me and my credibility. And now some people are giving me the credit, that I do not deserve, for the video.

La semaine dernière j’ai eu le plaisir de publier un entretien que j’ai eu avec Mohamed Drissi Bakhkhat de MoTIC sur la censure au Maroc en général et la censure des sites web 2.0 en particulier (Youtube, Google Earth, Livejournal). Hier, mon ami Stupeur m’a appris la nouvelle de la censure de Youtube. Avec ça, la Tunisie devient le seul pays au monde à censurer, à la fois, les deux meilleurs sites de partage de vidéos. Apparemment, la censure de Dailymotion n’est plus suffisante.

وفي النهاية كما تنبأت في تدوينتي قبل الأخيرة، سارعت يد الرقابة مجددا لتحجب الموقع العاكس لمدونتي هذه، فرططـّو، و الذي لم يعمّر أكثر من 6 أيام. سرعة الحجب هذه أُرجعها شخصيا لمراسلة تونس نيوز التي قامت بنشر تدوينتي حول فرططـّو و أوصلت خبرها بطريقة غير مباشرة و دون سوء نية لعيو.

تحديث: لقد تم إطلاق سراح المدونة ركانة حمور بعد أن تم التحقيق معها حول تعليق نشره أحد الزوار على مدونتها. و تروي ركانة في تدوينتها الأخيرة كيف تم اختطافها و التحرش بها. مرة أخرى يختطف "رجال" المخابرات السورية المدونة و الأمّ ركانة حمّور من أمام منزلها و على مرأى من أطفالها ا�.
