Unless Gordon Brown is a masochist he should get the hint and step down as Prime Minister after the appalling results of Labour at the local elections. The Lib Dems have made important gains, but a general election would give David Cameron every chance to enter 10 Downing Street. With Boris Johnson mayoring London in addition, Britain is now effectively run by the tories. If I were a citizen of this country I would vote in anyone who pledges to remove any CCTV camera who is not clearly visible to the public.
